What should I expect after submitting a personalized order?Updated a month ago
What happens after I place a personalized order?
Every item I make is personalized and handmade by me, right here in my small studio. Below is the step-by-step process your order goes through, along with how long each step typically takes.
Note on Timeframes:
My production time is 14 business days, which means it does not include weekends or holidays.
This is roughly equal to 3 full calendar weeks (about 19–21 days).
If you place your order on a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, Day 1 is the following Monday.
1. Order Received
Timeframe: Immediately
Your order has been received and added to my system. There’s nothing you need to do — I’ll start prepping it soon.
2. Pre-Production Prep
Timeframe: Days 1–3
I’m reviewing your order details and getting everything ready for production. This includes double-checking personalization, layout, and materials.
3. Queued for Production
Timeframe: Days 4–7
Your order is officially in line. I make every item by hand, so it’ll move into production once earlier orders are completed.
You’ll receive an email when your order enters the queue.
4. In Production
Timeframe: Days 8–14
I’m now making your item. This is the longest part of the process because each order is created with care and attention to detail.
You’ll receive another email update once production begins.
5. Quality Check
Timeframe: Days 15–16
I inspect every order to make sure everything looks great before it ships. If anything is off, I fix it before it ever leaves the studio.
6. Packing in Progress
Timeframe: Days 17–18
Your item is packed carefully and made ready for shipment.
7. Shipped – Label Created
Timeframe: Days 19–20
Your shipping label has been printed, and your package is waiting for USPS pickup. You’ll receive tracking once it’s scanned and on the move.
8. In Transit – With USPS
Timeframe: USPS delivery time varies
Once USPS picks up your package, it’s officially on the way. You can use your tracking number to follow its journey.
